You're not just downloading a training program from the internet - you're accessing an environment that gives you proven plans along with the tools you need to monitor your training.
It's designed to be easy to use and simple to understand. So you don't need to be an expert.

Whether you're a solitary runner or part of a group you'll have the tools in the palm of your hand to be a self-coached runner. Compatible with Strava

The Online training package features:

The Running Domain plans are proven, easy to follow and jargon free. There’s a list of training plans that is continually being updated and if your event isn’t on the list then you can quickly and easily create your own plan using the Running Domain program creator. Programs come in various levels, standard, intermediate and advanced so depending on what you're aiming for and how much time you can commit to running there’s a program for you. It’s an entirely flexible system and you can change your plan at any time to suit your level of training. And when you come to the end of one plan, simply jump on board another plan.

Adding your training info

The benefit of having an online training program is that you can update it online. Typically you have a training plan and you have information about your running held somewhere else. The Online training package brings the 2 things together so that you can see the plan and what you’ve run in the same place. That gives you much greater insight into how you are going and allows you to use tools to quickly analyse your training and compliance with your program. The online training package allows you to update your training info in 2 ways, either by directly entering the run information or by downloading your Strava information.

Using Strava

If you don’t know what Strava is then take a look. It’s free to sign up for a Strava account. The majority of GPS based fitness devices can upload data into Strava including Garmin, Suunto, Tom-Tom, fitbit etc. For a complete list of supported devices check the Strava documentation. When you create your Strava accounts it’s a simple process to upload data into Strava. When you have your data in Strava you can upload into the Online training package at the click of a button.

Managing your training

There are reports, charts, the Dashboard and email reminders. The Dashboard lets you see what you’ve done in the last few days and weeks and how that compares to your plan. Charts give easy visuals of your progress against plan. If you want to venture into further detail look at the daily and weekly reports which show individual runs and totals alongside your plan. And if you need some extra motivation, get email reminders sent to you reminding you of the planned runs.

See PLAN - TRAIN - ASSESS - for more details and example screens.
